To reprogram anything, you
need to start by altering its source code. And this source code consists of six
essential steps. The first three steps will lay a solid foundation, and the
last three will hard reset your brain, reprogramming it completely.
Let’s start with the first
step.
Step 1: Belief
If you place a human among
animals, they may begin to act like an animal, and if you place an animal among
humans, humanity may start to emerge in that animal. You never actively tried
to learn your mother tongue; you merely heard the people around you speaking
it, and as a result, you began speaking it too. If you’ve been conditioned to
believe you can’t achieve anything significant, that you’re not smart enough,
that you’re weak in studies, or that you’re only capable of earning a certain
amount, then one day, all these beliefs will become your reality. Repeatedly
hearing the same thing conditions your brain to accept it as truth.
They say, "Tell a lie
often enough, and it becomes the truth." Your brain starts accepting these
lies as reality and acts accordingly. The first thing you need to do is change
your conditioning. You must repeatedly affirm positive truths to yourself until
you believe them. You must believe that what you’re saying is 100% true, and
constantly remind yourself that you didn’t come into this world to live an
ordinary life. Surround yourself with people who support this belief.
As you develop a strong
belief, your attitude will begin to change.
Step 2: Feeling
Up until now, you’ve been
working to convince your mind that what you’re thinking is true. But often,
people get stuck at this stage. They develop a strong belief but fail to take
action, and their beliefs turn into regrets. For example, many people have
wanted to start their own business, learn a new skill, or launch their own
channel. They’ve read books, taken courses, and were confident that their ideas
could change their lives. But despite all this, they didn’t act because while
their minds were ready, their bodies weren’t.
The most challenging part is
getting your body to feel that what your mind is thinking is actually possible.
After all, it’s your body that has to do the work—you can’t achieve anything
great by just imagining it. You must feel it emotionally within your body. If
you can’t feel it in your heart, you won’t be able to act on it. Learn to feel
what you want and start taking action as soon as possible.
Step 3: Behavior
Your behaviors create your
habits, and your habits shape your life. Whatever you’ve been doing so far has
been driven by your habits, and whatever you’ll do in the future will depend on
them too. When you start believing in your mind and feeling it in your body,
you’ll be able to change your behavior. To achieve your goals, you must change
your behavior and reprogram your mind. By altering your beliefs and embodying
them, you’ll change your behavior, which will become your habit. All your
habits combined will reprogram your subconscious mind, leading to changes in
your actions, and each action will bring you closer to success.
With these three steps, you’ve
built a strong foundation. Now it’s time to hard reset your mind and reprogram
it, which brings us to the next step.
Step 4: Conscious Self-Talk
Do you know how significant a
role self-talk plays in your life? Now is the time to pay attention to what
you’re saying to yourself every day. Whatever happens in our lives is a
reaction to our self-talk. It’s important to recognize whether your self-talk
is negative or positive. Your mind doesn’t inherently label anything as
positive or negative; these are just things your mind has accepted as true.
What’s positive for you might be negative for someone else. For example, you
might be going through a tough time in your life, and someone might tell you
that it’s okay to cry. If you accept this as truth, instead of dealing with the
situation and becoming stronger, you’ll keep telling yourself, "I’m weak,
I’m not strong, I’m depressed," and your behavior will align with this
belief. You’ll start avoiding tasks that require strength because inside,
you’re telling yourself that you’re weak.
You must pay attention to the
thoughts running through your mind and what you’re saying to yourself. If it’s
all negative, change it today.
Step 5: Replace Negative Self-Talk with Positive Affirmations
Identify the self-talk you
often engage in and replace it with positive affirmations. If you frequently
tell yourself, "I’m weak," replace it with "I’m strong." If
you say, "I’m depressed," replace it with "I’m happy."
However, it’s crucial that whatever self-talk you choose for yourself is
believable and not overly simplistic or exaggerated. It should evoke a strong
feeling within you, enabling you to change.
Step 6: Find Proof for Your New Self-Talk
To reinforce your new
self-talk, you must prove to yourself that what you’re saying is true. If
you’re telling yourself, "I’m successful," or "I will be
successful," then take actions that demonstrate your capability for
success. Start incorporating habits and behaviors associated with success into
your life, such as waking up early, exercising with focus, eliminating
distractions, and completing tasks that make you feel successful.
Divide your big goals into
smaller, manageable tasks and tackle them one by one. Each completed task will
give you a sense of achievement and success, boosting your self-confidence.
So, friends, these are the six steps you need to follow for 21 days to reprogram your brain and become a successful person.
